Connecting Kids Scholarship Program

Connecting Kids is a United Way of Vermillion initiative aimed at giving every child in Clay County the chance to participate in extracurricular activities like sports, arts, and other enrichment programs. The program covers one activity per child per year, with support determined by a sliding scale. Financial need can be established by participation in other need based programs such as SNAP or Medicaid.

Criteria

  • Child resides & is enrolled in a K-12 school in Clay County

  • Activity must be based in Clay County

  • Family meets financial eligibility requirements

  • Activity organization agrees to participate in program
